Two things seem certain about the CBS-TV show "Rock Star: Supernova," which will produce a lead singer for a new supergroup. A Puerto Rican-born curiosity named Zayra Alvarez is being kept around for laughs, and Portland singer Storm Large is a big-time frontrunner.
Six weeks into the 13-week run of the show, Large is one of 10 remaining
contestants out of 15. Georgia native Dana Andrews was eliminated Wednesday
night. Large is one of only three aspirants not to have been among the three
lowest vote getters on the show.
