After testing last week showed Portland Trail Blazer forward Martell Webster had an irregular heartbeat, he has been cleared to resume all basketball activities upon recovery from an examination that required the insertion of a catheter into his leg, the team announced Tuesday.
Because typical recovery is about a week, it is not known whether Webster will return before the end of the regular season.
The Blazers’ final regular season game will be on the road against the Phoenix Suns on April 16.
Prior to last Thursday night’s game with the Houston Rockets, the 21-year-old Webster experienced flu-like symptoms and dizziness. He was taken to a local hospital where he stayed overnight for observation. Further testing on Friday revealed the irregular heartbeat.

I have ventricular tachycardia which is basically an irregular heartbeat. It caused me to pass out on the hwy and kill someone in an accident. I hope his isnt as serious.
