Info on Tuesday's films:
The Latin From Manhattan: Vanessa Del Rio works in the adult district of Times Square and becomes a beloved adult star and burlesque performer. Her ascent in this world crosses paths with other colleagues in the adult industry as well as the mobsters operating behind the scenes and the federal and local authorities tasked with cleaning up New York City."
Wonderfully Made: LGBTQ+R(eligion): Directed by Emmy winner Yuval David and produced by Mark McDermott. This feature-length documentary strikes at the root of anti-LGBTQ attitudes by exploring the challenges and aspirations of LGBTQ+ Catholics. The film focuses on the Catholic Church because it is one of the largest religious organizations in the world, and because its anti-LGBTQ+ stance is well known and growing more hardline around the world. The narrative of the film is shaped by the process of a fine art project creating unprecedented, photographic iconography depicting Jesus as a member/ally of the LGBTQ+ community, portrayed by multiple LGBTQ+ models of diverse ethnicities, genders, races, sexualities, and identities."
