'Al-Qaeda, Osama' - Southeast Portland hate crime reported

The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office is investigating possible bias crime charges after a violent attack was caught on camera at a Southeast Portland gas station.

A video taken during the confrontation shows 43-year-old Brian Christopher Miller yelling slurs and throwing items at the 68-year-old man working behind the counter, who filmed the attack. Miller allegedly went in to buy cigarettes Friday night, Jan. 22, at the convenience store near Southeast Division and 145th Avenue.
