U.S. Rep. Suzanne Bonamici is encouraging aspiring artists living in the counties that comprise the 1st Congressional District to submit their work to an annual contest.

The 2021 Congressional Art Competition is open to students in grades 9 through 12 who live or attend school in Yamhill, Clatsop, Washington, Columbia and parts of Multnomah counties. Local artists will judge the entries and the winning student artist's work will be displayed at the capitol building in Washington, D.C.
