Darcelle XV Showplace announces new ownership

Darcelle XV Showplace announced Monday night that the historic drag club will remain open in 2025.

Darcelle XV Showplace washed away fears of closing in a Facebook post Monday night that read, “Thank you all for your continued support! We are beyond thrilled to share that under new ownership, our doors will remain open!!! In 2025, Darcelle XV & Co will celebrate 58 years in business!!”

Not much is known at this time other than the transfer of ownership from Walter Cole’s (Darcelle XV) children’s hands. The Facebook post stated that an “Official announcement forthcoming!”
