Previously, police identified two men shot and killed in Southeast Portland on Jan. 17. They are Frank Gouland, 31, and Adam Kekoa Adams, 28. That case is still under investigation.
In Saturday's shooting, the investigation began around 8 p.m. when North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 8900 block of North Lombard Street. When the officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire.
Officers then learned a man was being driven to a hospital by a private vehicle. He is being treated for serious wounds, but they are not believed to be life threatening.

The investigation into the Jan. 17 homicides began around 3:30 a.m. that day when officers from East Precinct responded to a call of a shooting in the 14300 block of Southeast Division Street. When they arrived, the officers found two victims who were dead.
Detectives from the Homicide Division responded to the scene to continue the investigation. Cause and manner of death will be determined by the Oregon State Medical Examiner at a later time and date. Additional information will be released at the direction of the investigators.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Officer determined both men died from gunshot wounds and ruled their deaths a homicide.
