Multnomah Falls

Timed tickets to park at Multnomah Falls returns later this month.

A system for limiting the crush of visitors to one of Oregon’s most popular destinations is set to return at the end of this month.

The Multnomah Falls timed-use permit system resumes Friday, May 26, at the Interstate 84 parking lot. Visitors between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. must go online to Recreation.gov for a $2 fee per vehicle. Permits are released two weeks prior to the visit date, and there are also a limited amount of in-person, same-day permits for free at locations like the Gateway to the Gorge Visitor Center in Troutdale and the Cascade Locks Historical Museum.
