Police seized three guns, ammunition and drugs during two arrests in different parts of Portland on Friday.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, the first investigation began at 2:09 a.m.March 18 when East Precinct officers responded to a report of an injury crash in the 2900 block of Southeast 122nd Avenue. When officers arrived, they met Portland Fire & Rescue and AMR paramedics who were attempting to extricate the driver of a 2005 Nissan Armada that had hit the back of a flatbed tow truck.
Officers were alerted to two guns in the SUV, including a rifle and handgun, as well as multiple magazines including a drum magazine.

The driver was arrested, and the officers saw that he had an empty shoulder holster on him. Upon further investigation, officers located a loaded .38-caliber revolver in the car as well as ammunition, methamphetamine and evidence of drug distribution.
