PPB arrests man for public indecency at elementary school

A man arrested for violating parole faces public indecency charges for allegedly exposing himself near Vernon Elementary School in Portland in August.

North Precinct officers learned that a man was exposing himself and performing lewd acts near Northeast 24th Avenue and Alberta Street on Aug. 30, but were unable to locate the suspect during a search that day. At the time, officers reported that the man was interacting with students through the schoolyard fence.
