Police have a arrested the man suspected of stabbing an off-duty firefighter in a Southwest Portland taven on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Police say that at 6:09 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 21, North Precinct Officers received an anonymous tip that the suspect was in the area of the 5900 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers arrived in the area and located 30 year-old Carroll McClendon. He was arrested without incident.
