Want to reserve park for your 2019 wedding? Jump into city's lottery

Cathedral Park is among those parks that only allow one wedding or event per day (this rule only excludes the Peninsula and Washington Park Rose Gardens).

For the second year, Portland Parks & Recreation is holding a lottery for wedding reservations in city parks.

The lottery gives couples a chance to reserve their space for weddings between March and December 2019. People who don't jump into the lottery will have to wait until Jan. 1 to reserve their wedding locations.
