Harold "Chris" Eugene Cristofferson

Harold “Chris” Eugene Christofferson, 79, of Scappoose Oregon sadly, left us on November 8, 2022 following a 2-year battle with cancer.

Chris was born and spent his early life in Brooks, Oregon. After high school, he served in the Oregon National Guard. In 1963, He and Mary were married and moved to Klamath Falls to attend Oregon Technical Institute, where he attained a degree in automotive repair. Chris and Mary settled in Bend, Oregon, raised a family and ran an automotive repair business for many years. Chris spent his later life in Scappoose Oregon, where he and Mary eventually retired. Chris was active in the community and the local Republican Party. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and big game hunting. During their more than 60 years together, He and Mary greatly enjoyed traveling, camping and exploring the backcountry and small towns of the Western states.
