Mike Clopton retires as Wilson baseball coach

Mike Clopton's baseball coaching career spanned 51 years, most of it as the head man at Wilson High. He announced his retirement on Monday.

Mike Clopton is retiring as Wilson High baseball coach after more than a half-century in coaching.

Clopton had a four-decade run at Wilson and Jackson highs, where his teams won state championships in 2006 and 2012.
